If you are a cosmetology student in West Virginia who is interested in practicing professionally in the state, you must have graduated from an approved cosmetology school and have completed 1,800 hours or have completed the apprenticeship program with 4,000 hours.
The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing has partnered with Prometric to administer its exams. For its written exams, test takers will be tested on several major topics. These topics include the following: general concepts; applied anatomy; physical services; chemical services; hair styling and shaping; barber; and state laws and regulations. The test contains 100 questions, you have two hours to complete the exam, and you must score at least 70 percent to pass.
